i wouldnt be bothering with betting the flop here oop v 4 opponents.

as played i just lead the turn. given that you checked i dont mind your c/r. no real reason to think that you are behind and you can get value off a decent Q or even some kind of draw.

Personally I don't like betting the flop with 4 people to act and a Q on board.

On the turn, I see what you tried to do, but again, vs. 2 villains I can't say I like it all that much. I don't think he calls any worse on the river shove, or folds anything better.

loose passive guys call with any 8 here and will likely have a better kicker than you. You just can't value bet 2nd pair no kicker into 4 people.

One of Abas cardrunner videos summed this situation up very nicely I think. You should continue to bet. The turn check raise is a mistake because we lose value when it gets checked behind and no reasonable player is going to call a huge check raise with a pair of Queens that we beat.

In this example I can only assume that the player who called your raise had a draw of sorts- if it was 97 it came in and we are done.

also flop bet IS gross IMO. and limping QJ/QT/Q9s/QK is done all the time...Qx is actually one of the hands i see people limp with more than anything else.

and yes, you VT'd yourself.

If you think they not calling flop with anythig but Qx/22 and u do get 2 callers and a bet and a calla fter u check the turn...well..
