C/R AI?
I know a lot of people recomend crai on this kind of flop but to me it seems really odd. I did it and everyone folded here but it really seems like too much of a bet.
.01/.02NL on stars Hero $7.89 SB villain $2.32 UTG VIllain (2) $4.86 UTG+1 Hero has 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I complete and see a flop K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, bb checks, villain bets .06, villain(2) raises to .12, Hero bets $5, everyone folds. Hero gets lambasted for 5 min on his horible overbet to which I say... wow Ive never met a .01/.02 pro before can I have your autograph. Is this the right play? Everyone here seems to recomend it. Is there a time where you are so deep that a raise to $2 here would have been good? Im assuming your goal is to take the pot down right there but if they call you are probably a favorite. Is this the correct thinking? I think the concept is interesting but it really seems like a HUGE over bet. I realize that if you raise and have a blank turn you are now forced to make a decent sized donk bet or check fold. Is the CRAI used so you dont need to decided on a line for the blank turn? edit* sorry forgot to say what I had. |

Re: C/R AI?
I don't like overbetting THAT much. You're taking the "2p2 CRAI with a strong draw" type play a little too far here.
If you want to CR put in a pot-sized raise. |

Re: C/R AI?
I put in a raise that is the largest raise that I think villain will call. It is obvious that even total fish think your raise was too much.
A c/r all in is effective when a pot sized raise (or a little more) is all it takes to get all-in. +EV |

Thank you
Say you raise to .60 and get a caller. What is your line with the 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] comes on the turn? |

Re: C/R AI?
I'd probably fire again and try to take it down but checking isn't horrible

Re: C/R AI?
just bet the flop so when someone raises you then you can get it all-in.

Re: C/R AI?
I have heard from so many people on here that crai on a huge draw is a good play. They could have been [censored] with me but I was told gullible wasnt in the dictionary.

Re: C/R AI?
First thing that comes to mind is that this is a limped pot. If its a raised pot there is alot of money in there and a CRAI picks up alot of money if uncalled. I like to B/3B in this spot especially in limped pot.
Super deep at the micromicro tables you probably should of just reraised again and expect both to call, with a slight possibility that one of them pushes. Essentially your trying to get Villan 2's 250 bb's, and you want him to committ some more to this pot. |
