Default 100NL TPTK facing heat but board isn\'t too bad?

What do you think of my line here? On the flop I find it likely he's playing back at me with an A. The only hands I'm scared of here are AA and 55.

He's a huge nit, so he won't stack off light.

On the other hand, he prolly repops AA and prolly flatcalls 55. I'm fairly sure he doesn't call 56s/54s on the button.. but he would be retarded to bluff in this spott.

I really don't think most villians would play AA or 55 that way, but I find myself doing it sometimes....

Aside from that, only hand that's beating you is if A8 or 88 (the latter ridiculously unlikely considering the play) got there on the turn. Since you're getting 3-1 here, I think you have to call, but I think you see worse frequently enough even against nit to justify call.

FWIW I don't think I can fold this on turn.

I don't for a minute suspect he is bluffing. However I could be beat, we could be splitting the pot, or he might have something like AQ etc.

the minraise really makes me think he has 56s or some sort of 5. yes, he's very tight, but i see that line a lot with these types of hands that make trips. I play flop same way you did.

Turn, I don't bet. I really really think i c/f this turn. He's so tight, I think it's likely he checks even AQ behind here (remember guys this is full ring) for pot control. If he checks behind I make a small vbet on the river.

btw, there is a full ring forum if you didn't know about it. it's here.

This is good advice, thanks.

Ah sweet I didn't know about that. Is SSNL only for 6 max games then? Or is it preferred to keep hand discussions in SSNL and general full ring questions in Full Ring? I'll take a look anyhow.

i would think that if he had a 5 he would just shove the flop after u raised to 25. so after he flat calls im feeling pretty good about your hand. I think on the turn u know hes probably gonna raise all in with his stack. Knowing that, i like betting about half his stack and caling a push.
