Default 400NL, top two with Big Slick

2/4 6-max

I'm playing 700, villain covers after winning a buy-in in the previous orbit (off me) in a set over set situation. Villain is solid, something like 19/12. Hasn't shown down anything funky in the 100 hands or so I've played with him.

I'm dealt AKo in the CO and make it 14 to play

Villain calls. Everyone else folds.
Pot = 34.

Flop is K95 rainbow
I bet 30, villain calls.
Pot = 94.

Turn is A, completing the rainbow.
I bet 90, villain calls.
Pot = 274

river is a 2.

what's my line?

A tight villain, cold-calling two PSBs on that board, has set off my MUTB-ometer. Who willing to go broke here?

comments on bet sizing on flop and turn are also appreciated.

I bet 200 and call a shove. I don't quite see why villain wouldn't have raised either the flop or turn with a set unless they were concerned about KK / AA. If that's the case, they might just call the river bet anyway.

If you're that concerned about a set, though, c/c river.

is c/c river not the worst option, he checks behind all worse and probably only bets better?

and i'm guessing if he hasn't raised it's more cause the board is draw rather than a fear of aa/kk!

Ordinarily it'd be a pretty bad thing to do, but given how worried about a set the OP is it's the cheapest way to see a showdown.

bet/fold for ~200 seems best. although it would be a tough fold to make at the time. i think with villain's pf stats if he raises the river you can pretty confidently narrow his range to either a hand that beats or splits with you or a bluff. it would be handy to know his river AF or have some read on his penchant for making deep bluffs.

lol at all the Irish guys posting here

I checked the river. He bet 175 and I called like the donkey I am and got shown 55 for the flopped set. Realistically I was at best calling to split here but my Inner Donkey took control of the mouse
