200nl: qq preflop against tag

I find this spot tricky. What's your standard line against this type of player?

villain is 18/16. he 8 tables and plays pretty abc. very tag, has given up on another table a few times when I 3bet him (his steal % is 27).

Hero raises to $7, MP calls $7, 1 fold, SB raises to $31, 1 fold, Hero...?

What's his sn? (or yours for that matter)

Probably just call and do something postflop.

you have possition and an effective stacks of 100BB I would just call and go from there, the flop play and preflop are really dependent on his frequency of 3 betting.

i get the impression that he doesn't 3bet a whole lot just because he's multitabling, not to mention i raised in EP, there was a caller and he 3-bet out of blinds. he could be squeezing but i don't think he's that tricky.

what happens when the flop is low and he cbets 70%? seems like a tough spot because i stack off to AA KK, and I don't really think i stack tt or jj too much.

I would call a none threatning cbet on a low flop and try and get a cheap showdown.

I'd call a CB on an all rag flop and consider folding to a strong turn bet on a blank turn. At least that's what I tell myself now. In reality I probably end up stacking off to his AA/KK.

Shrug, it's a tough spot.

who is the Villian? I'm 4 betting here most of the time as I've noticed more and more squeezin' lately with hands like QJoff. Really depends on the Villian.

If you know he has AA or KK 100% of the time its a good fold, if he can have anything else its bad, you have possition, use that [censored]!
