Default Sweet... A Stats Post (-600BB)

Most of the regulars around here know I'm bad at this game, so I'm not going to give any history with regards to my poker career... I've already done that in my 5+ other stats posts over the past 3 years.

So here we go:

Filtered for 5-6 handed:

Finally, for people like Miles, who enjoy stuff like this:

Losing to COWBOYS33... fantastic.

Also, TARCARDS is unbeatable imho. Over 20,000+ hands I have him as a 2.3bb/100 winner with stats of 45/25/2. I wish he posted more, so I could figure him out.

Please, for all that is good and holy and whatnot, help me figure out what is wrong. This probably puts me over 1,500 BB down lifetime since I moved to Absolute (400,000+ hands). I feel like Jeff/Josh W. (don't remember which).

One thing is for sure, I am not going to quit until it kills me (or I kill others and get locked up).

Thank you.

i feel your pain OP.

I went on a 650BB downswing spanning over 40K hands.

It was really more like 3; 200BB downswings spaced out, but it happened, and it sucked.

This was at 3-6 and 5-10

All I can tell you is keep grinding it out.

Over the next 25K hands at 5-10 and 10-20, I won 800BB

THe thing I love about AP is, even with that 650BB downswing over 2-3 months, I still won money every month.

ty rb and bonii

Tarcards runs pretty hot. His postflop play is good and he takes advantage of his image but hes nothing special. IMO he gives up too much by playing so loosely preflop.

5-6 handed:

VPIP from SB: 41%. It's maybe too high.
BB won/hand from SB: -0.21. It should be better I think.(Folding 100% of the time means -0.25 BBwon/h)

Maybe to many hands played from SB in unraised pots.

Absolute has a 2/3 blind structure. You should be playing a ton of hands from the sb.

If it's 1/3 SB, then it's pretty bad, I think. If it's 2/3 then it's OK, I think.

You're folding your BB a lot for a 30/20 type guy, esp in a 2/3 SB game (more $ in pot PF). Maybe you're affecting the 30 VPIP in a bad way? For the LAGTAG style, a lot of it comes from the blinds.

I would try tightening up and just valuebetting these shitbirds to death. Play at AP 3/6 is so overaggro and bad, just start with a tighter range. Most of the donx won't adjust properly and will keep spewing on the big streets.

Also, why not post your screenname? Maybe some regs will have some insight into your game that the stats don't reflect.

OP seems to be too tight in position 3
so am I though, that's why I like playing 2-5 handed

i am too loose 3 off the button. pretty sure i should stop playing the worst 2-3% of hands i play there. i could look at PT to see if i win/lose and with what hands, but i know it's just me being stupid with QJo KTo A9o and stuff like 65s.
