Tag mini reraises my JJ 2/5 full game
2/5, I have an average stack, re-raiser has me covered. Loose game and everybody is playing a lot of hands for $5 but not many for $20-25. Cutoff, Button and SB will call $25 with a very wide range (any pair, any suited maybe unsuited ace, any 2 painted cards).
Hero MP ($700) has reds JJ mp one limper and I make it $25. Next to act, TAGish Villain ($800) puts in a mini raise to $50 (in a flash). ? 3 players left to act that may have called the $25 but not $50, she wants it heads up (me too). My range of hands for the Villain includes AK, AQ, QQ, KK, AA and maybe JJ (in that order). I think she makes it $75 with KK or AA more often than not so I'm leaning toward AK. I also think she will lead on any board if call and check the flop. All fold to me and I..... Call, and plan to CR any none AKQ board. ReReRaise it to $200. Push. Thanks and Best of Luck Gordon Scott |

I like the 'Call, and plan to CR any none AKQ board.' option )

Call and C/C any non-ace flop.

Re: Tag mini reraises my JJ 2/5 full game
Not usual for tight aggressive to mini reraise pre with AA or KK. Especially when table is loose. check raising allows him to get away cheaply with hands you beat, but it will prove expensive if he does have a hand. Check call flop and re-evaluate on turn

Re: Tag mini reraises my JJ 2/5 full game
call his miniraise PF.
c/c most flops, i.e. without A or K. If he's tag, he wont fire second barrels if hes missed most likely. |
