Default Housemate has a really annoying habit

To me anyway. He slurps his hot tea. Really horribly. He does this thing where its SSSSSSSLUUUUUUUURRRRRPP-EHHHH for the exhale.

This just drives me up a wall. I want to tell him to stop, but it's one of those things where I don't know if I'm being the douche. We have a shared computer room, so just not being in the room isn't an option.

And I'm not kidding about the slurping either, I play my headphones at full blast when he does it, and I can feel the vibration through my chair.

I also have a major issue with people at restaurants smacking their lips and open mouth chewing really loud. Stuff like this just makes me wanna kill puppies.

Anyway,

the clear answer is to make the same slurping with tea and/or soup, he'll ask you to stop, then you can continue to do passive-aggressive things to each other until he finally moves out.

Here's a good rule of thumb: If your roommate's issue is not more annoying than banging chicks in your bed, then keep it to yourself.

It's nitty, but tell him anyway. Doesn't mean he'll stop, but you'll feel better getting it off your chest.
