Default NL200 - Turn push with a big draw

Villain is one of the better multi-tabling TAG regs - 14/10/4.

I often raise this flop, but I had been pretty active and felt that he could put me on a draw and re-raise me with an overpair.

I turn an OESD to go with my FD, but only have one card to come. I am pretty sure I won't get paid off if a heart comes on the river - and possibly not if the str8 comes in; so I don't think a call is +EV. I thought that a raise to push out a 1 pair hand is best. He only has $150 left and a PSB is $109, so I pushed. If he calls, I have 9-18 outs.

I don't know if this turn push is standard, OK, or terrible.

What hands would a good TAG reg call a turn push with here?

I like your way of thinking. But he will call with his overpair, you know that? So you got 12 outs on one card. Do the math...

I like it, it looks like u have 2 pair and if he is a good player he should find fold here often enough to make it profitable.

But against these nits I would prefer if u almost min raised turn and shoved any river.

Look at his stats and tell me what he raises UTG+1: ->QQ+
Maybe he will fold because he thinks you have a straight but i doubt it.

I like using this line, but i think villain needs to be a little deeper in this particular hand.

This Villain is not a nit, he raises 10% preflop. I raise 9% and from UTG+1 I pop it with most 66+, AJs+, AQo+ (& occasionally 22-55 , KQs etc).

I didn't think he would fold because he puts me on a made str8. I thought he might fold JJ-QQ because I can have 88, 77, 33, 56s, 89s, TJs, 87s etc here. If he has AA or KK and won't fold, I have 15 outs. My line is not atypical of how I play a set - (I don't always raise the flop, as it is very unlikely that he has a heart or str8 draw too). The better regs in the 200 game don't stack off with an overpair all that often.

if you both know each other, no way does he fold anything good here.

your hand looks like a FD + Pair. Unless you've ever played a straight or set that fast.
