what up guys, im a long time lurker, figured id start posting more. Uhhh, a little about me, im 21, was a college student, but am moving to LA, to play live and online for awhile. I play anywhere from 2-4 to 10-25 like to move up higher soon. But neways, nice to meet u guys, ive been lurkign this forum forever, and its a big help so i thought id finally become part of it


on to the hand

I feel sick on every street

Ive been 3 betting villian in hand a lot, and i think he is starting to get fed up with it. Villian is solid mid stakes grinder on the taggish side, im on my old computer so no pokertracker, sorry

anyways on the the hand

5-10 nl 6 handed effective stacks 1100

folds to villain in mp, he raises pot, folded around to me in the sb i have have A-x Q-s. I usually will RR this, but i think im gonna get called and played back with so i elect to just call.

Flop

A-s9-x 8s

I check villians bets like 3/4rth pot, i call

turn 3s i check villain 2/3rds pot, i call

river 8x i check villain makes another 3/4rths it bet.


I folded, but felt sickened because i had a feeling this hand was gonna play out like this a lot. I hate my line, but i hate Cr flop with my image, and i hate like calling and donking turn...

Just a gross spot or something else i could done?

Fold turn if you're going to play like this. Re-raise preflop anyway. It's easy to dump, and a CB takes it down more than you think.

edit: oh you have Qs. Then I think you played it OK. I prefer reraising preflop and not having a bad image [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
