Default A Preflop Poll

Just some questions, obviously a poll has its limitations and yeah yeah, it all depends, yes obv, I'm just thinking about tweaking a few ranges and I though this might get interesting...

Many of you open all these hands and some of you open none of them, the question is which would you rather have, or simply which hand is better.

Assume full stacks for all seats, a taggy image, and nothing crazy at the table.

if u change question one obv 87s.. im surprised at 96s over Ax ... well actually some of these depend on the game.. in a softer game i want A10 over 109.. or i guess a6>96.. assuming u dont table select well then 96s and 109s all day

I'd much rather have SC or near connectors than Ace-rag any day.

If the flop is Ace high and Villain doesn't have an Ace, then I'm likely winning the pot regardless of my hand. If he does have an Ace, then his kicker is likely better and having Ace-rag will just cost me money. People aren't paying me off on Ace-high flops unless they can beat an Ace with a crappy kicker.

With SC, I can hit a disguised powerhouse and get paid off by a 2nd best hand that doesn't know it's 2nd best.

it depends on the table really

my answers in a vacuum are:

j9o not
96s not (esp if a tag/lag is otb)
kQo pretty (KQo is a nicer hand to play against fish imo)
ATo pretty
98o not

J9 not close at all
96s SUPERRRRRRR close
KQ not close at all
AT super close
98 not close

I think the clearest choice here is J9> 34, and the closest is AT> 9T.
