FTOPS, deep ITM JJ hand... general help
Got to the table two orbits ago with 24k. I doubled up, than I RR like 4 hands. Showed AQ on initial double up and TT. I have re-raised this guy once already. Not sure if they assume I was getting a rush(which i was) or that I'm hyper aggro.

Actually flat call may be good too. It is a little tricky situation due to stack sizes and the early position raise. |

Re: FTOPS, deep ITM JJ hand... general help
What are we aiming at with our RR? I would like to prevent the remaining players from joining the pot - getting increasing good odds - but I don´t (!!) want OR to fold weaker hands (like 99/TT/AQ/AK). Certainly Villain will never fold QQ+. Said this I would make it 17k to go but be prepared to fold against a push!
[EDIT] By the way: in later position (button) I had just flat-called as the risk of further callers is decreased and I definitely don´t want to a) kick him off with a smaller PP / AK b) get a RR-AI |

Re: FTOPS, deep ITM JJ hand... general help
If I make it 17k to go (which will prevent further callers from coming along) and Villain then pushes I assume a range of JJ+, AK. Against this range I´m a 2:1 dog, but just gets odds of 1.7:1 for a call. So I could find a fold and rest with a stack that still lets me play some good poker. Or am I wrong?
Other question: do you expect 99/TT to call your reraise to 38k? Do you expect AK to fold against a push? If not in both times - why aren´t we just pushing immediately then, if we plan to call Villain´s push anyway? I can see no difference here ... |

Tackle,
There is no guarantee that if I make it 17k or 20k (I hate min rasises) AA or KK wouldn’t flat call. Knowing that they can CRAI on the flop. After I make it 38k, I don’t expect any hand to call. If the guy is playing his hand he is shoving. |
