$16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
MP2 (t1075) CO (t795) Button (t2950) Hero (t1335) BB (t4160) UTG (t1315) MP1 (t1870) Preflop: Hero is SB with T, T. 1 fold</font>, MP1 raises to t450</font>, 3 folds</font>, Hero ??? Villian is a regular. He pushed last hand so it looks here like 3x pf is more for value. I feel like I should be calling if he pushed all in but not over his raise. what do you all think? |

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
it's possible his return to a more normal raise amount is because his last push put him over 10bb. I would shove. You're pretty short stacked yourself and have a premium hand. If you're vs 2 overcards you have the best of it considering the blind money. If he shows you JJ+, gg.

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
It's a fold if you have him on a veruy tight range.
Push against your regular $16 player, though. |

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
depends on what regular's opening and calling range is there.
of the pocket pairs, i can't imagine a regular (and by regular, i mean a competent player who is a long term winner) opening a much wider range than 88+ there at the most.... i certainly wouldn't. all the other hands are AJ+ and KQ. on those ranges, although I haven't done the ICM math, i think we're in big trouble. I think the people who are saying to push are putting an UTG+1 on a far wider range than is reasonable. |

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
What do you think his range is? You don't have any FE, he opened 3x with a 12bb stack into big stack's bb from ep/mp. Reads are pretty important.

very-easy-super-standart push against regular... [/ QUOTE ] You are not ahead of his range, you're looking at 50/50 at best with no FE. This doesn't seem like a good spot to me. |

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
I dont think he would be opening up here with anything less than AQ+ 99+, if hes even opening up that loose. With that particular read, Id say it is a fold but im surprised to see others say it is an intapush against a regular. Am i missing something here? Are regulars opening up with 1/5 of their stack with a wide enough range that 10 10 is going to be ahead?

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 against regular
I like folding this; not much there that doesn't have you dominated or is a coinflip, and like Insty says, zero FE. Let the 75 go
