2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
Villain is 29/18 over 120 hands. He's been aggro postflop against other players but we haven't tangled yet.

Agreed on bet sizing. Conceptually though, good spot to do this?

Serious question, do you think this guy might call with a straight?

Re: 2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
given that you've raised from a non-steal spot, you're in about as good of a position to rep an ace as you'll ever be... and most hands with the Ah would check behind on the turn other than made flushes and AJ (since they only make one pair on a coordinated board, and have a redraw). So yeah... only problem is if he realizes you're autoraising here with all air, but it's tough to figure that out just from the info provided.

Re: 2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
I should add though that most of the hands in your range have hit the board in some way and so they might just call the bet on the end rather than bluff-raising... but it's doubtful he is thinking this deep about it

Re: 2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
does anyone else think calling is okay here? imo, given the situation our hand has some showdown equity.
im still on the fence as to whether calling or raising is better. i like raising to get rid of some of the better hearts, but i think given his bet size the villain shows up with TP or 2pr here enough to make a call +ev. |

Re: 2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
such a small river bet = I raise ATC usually
I think a turn bet is good/awesome here also |

Re: 2/4 - Bluffing the 4 card flush block bet
actually I totally missed that we actually have a flush here, for some reason I was thinking we didn't
I probably call here since hands with the 6h etc are pretty unlikely and he's rarely folding like the Th or something... so usually when he's folding here we would have won just by calling |

Most draws just hit, more two pair combos were made, and and hands still drawing likely just picked up a pair to go with it. I'd much rather take a free card, hope a heart hit, and be able to check through for a showdown (but changed the plan when he block bet obv). |
