AA in UTG 20-30 blinds

I have limped a lot with AA in UTG,but im not sure is it +EV compering with 3x standard.
Today My stack was 3k(blinds 100),and i limped in with AA .And got 4 limpers+SB+BB.Flop came 578 and i had to fold my pocket rockets

Ughh... I don't know why you'd want to limp AA ever with a 100BB stack.
