Default Preflop ?

UTG raises (he likes to raise a lot preflop, could have any broadway)

UTG+2 3bets (he likes to slam his fist on the table when he checks, plays a little loose, could be trying to isolate UTG)

I'm next with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

For those of you that like money, what's my play?

Unless they are both really aggressive, or insane I usually fold this. I feel that in the past I have always over played AQ and AJ, I have been trying to get away from these hands in very marginal situations. But if they are both insane or overly aggressive then I don't think it is so marginal anymore, and I cap.

Fold most of the time. UTG has two random cards, but UTG+2 does not. Are you sure he's sophisticated enough to isolate? Even if he is, you're not likely to be much of a favorite against his hand. You're also still in early position.

unless 3-better slams his fist so hard his cards turn face up, this is an interesting decision...

I cap here usually.

But I believe that the most important factor is what UTG+2 thinks of you, and if he can be relied upon to not play back at you when you both miss the flop, and to always play back at you when he has a pair.

If UTG+2 has post-flop creativity then I fold.
