Default NL 50 KK pot control or valuebet

Villian is decent runs 14/10/2
Was thinking I only get 2 streets of value from A T or lower pocket pairs and will get c/r by any other hand.
but still confused what is best to do here...

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $47.00
BB: $40.80
Hero (UTG): $52.75
CO: $49.25
BTN: $80.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $2.00, 2 folds, SB calls $1.75, BB folds

Flop: ($4.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.00, SB calls $3.00

Turn: ($10.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)

def. value bet, ~7. you don't know enough about this player to assume that you're going to 'get c/r by any other hand'.

Did the small blind check then?

Value betting is fine, but you could also check to induce a bluff on the river for pot control. He could have 66-99 and thought your flop bet was missed overcards, have an A-10 hand, or overcards himself. Your still ahead of his range, so either play is fine. The best play depends on if villian is more of a calling station or more likely to get aggressive on river if you check behind.

Ok so once I've valuebetted the turn and the river blanks, villian checks to me and I valuebet 1/2 pot right?

Bet 7 on turn and bet river for 1/2-3/4 psb. Bet more(3/4) against the calling station.
