Default Fold or raise flop with pocket nines?

Everest Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.05./$0.1
8 players
Converter

MP2 is 62/30/0.9 (24 hands)
SB is 63/0/0.5 (27 hands)
BB is 67/0/0.2 (12 hands)

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, MP2 raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8.6SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Since I couldn't decide between folding and raising I called .
So please don't blame me for calling but please explain if I should fold or raise.

Turn: (6.3BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Here I call because I hope for a 8 or 9 on the turn. Since the clubs are dangerous I would say we have about 5 outs and get the odds to call!?!

River: (10.3BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks.

Results:
Final pot: 10.3BB

If those numbers are even close to accurate I'm certainly raising preflop or on the flop.

MP2 is super agro preflop so your 99 is in great shape against his raising range. 3-betting preflop would be a really good idea.

Since you didn't, I would raise the flop. He may just be c-betting, so you may be ahead and I'd want to raise to try to fold out those behind you and get it heads up.

I'd raise PF.

As played raise the flop which faces SB &BB with 2 bets and hopefully gets you HU against MP2. Asuming you don't hit your 9 (which will only happen about 8% of the time once you miss the flop) you want to play this against fewer opponents.

You have it backwards.

In a big pot, if you're mixed between raising and calling, raising is usually better, esp if gets other players to fold.

Threebet pf against this guy (in fact, I would trey against most all but the tightest pfr's). As played, you really should raise the flop.
