Default NL100 - preflop blindbattle with AKs

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $120.50
Hero (BB): $103.13
UTG: $131.19
CO: $254.33
BTN: $120.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
3 folds, SB raises to $4.00, Hero raises to $12.00, SB raises all-in to $120.50, Hero folds

Pot Size: $132.50

SB: 25 - 0.0 - 2.67 - 36wts (only 50hands)

Well he didn't steal until now. He is unknown to me except semibluffraising a flushdraw in position and calling push with his nutflushdraw (not monsterdraw). Also coldcalls Ax suited. Do we get it in here? Or is our equity too low?

you pretty much never want to fold AK, especially suited, as it can make a flush and a straight, and it can make TPTK 2 ways.

Nothing wrong there but since your hand is only a real dog against AA calling is not terrible. However you got table position on this tight player so better to aim to play him postflop.

I'm a nit but not felting AKs preflop in a 100nl game is fine. I don't like the variance and I feel that I'm better than my opponents.

So no need to flip.
