Default A more debateable triple check line

The last triple check thread i thought was more clear cut than this one from todays tilt 25k guarantee. In the previous thread the guy 3 barrel bluffed me with J9o (J high) so i thought with no FD out again perhaps a check is appropriate again. However, there is straight draw out, so perhaps i should be leading this time? I also think river is super close, but after having been 3 barreled last time and having people try and bluff me quite a lot the last 3 days, i ended up stationing, though i can realistically see a guy trying to V bet me A6-A8 as well without him thinking that worse hands won't call.

now here, I'm either folding the turn or the river, which has a lot to do with the fact that it's a 4 way pot, you have an ace and he doesn't care.

I've been becoming increasingly nitty lately, but in multiway pots like this, I have no problem check folding to someone who limped in relatively early position.

Don't think you're good 1/3rd of the time on the river without some kind of (timing, read-based, ...) tell.

I don't know, usually get that far and fold, but if I were better at poker I might have put 2 and 2 together a street or two earlier.

Edit to add: but let's not forget I was wrong last time too.

Maybe if your kicker was a like... a J I might consider calling. It definitely looks like your beat, but you did say he's really aggressive. On that note its a limped pot, but this guy could have it out for you.

yeah my general line on this situation is to check flop and fire turn. its good that your out of position on this hand for the way that ya can play it.

if im in position then i call and bet turn to if checked too, but you get first bet out and should be still betting with a good hand eg 2 pair. since i dont raise this flop if i had 2 pair its just like how i play a good hand.

This probably isn't the right mentality, but why would you call with A9 then fold right on the flop when that is a pretty descent flop for your hand? What are you trying to hit to make this profitable? 2 pair+?
