Final Pot: $4.60 I thought raising the flop has no value. I think a vpip=50% calls with ace-rag, so that ace could have hit him. If not, he can bluff into me, so I just call the flop and the turn. But on the river he makes a rather big bet compared to the flop and turn. That made me think he has an ace. Is this an auto-call or do you think my read is right and he has an ace? |

I raise the flop when I get donkbet here. If called, I shutdown. I generally take down the pot here. In retrospect I guess this is a bad play though since you're raising for information.

Often times I even expect to see KK or QQ here based on the Post flop play, but I imagine he would have raised pre with those hands.

As played I'd call. If you were best on the flop you're still best now. With that VPIP and agg. factor he's betting air a large percentage of the time.
If he's not a station a flop raise might have clarified the situation. |

I don't mind calling down in these spots. There is nothing he can be drawing to and although a raise can certainly be called by a worse hand, it isn't going to showdown much. Opponent is a maniac so he can really have ATC. Expect him overbet pot on river with a real hand, this is a call.
