Default How to calculate outs. Example: TT vs. KQs

I'm just thinking about how to calculate outs.

Lets have an example: TT vs. KQs

That's a 53.69% vs. 46.31% chance for the TT to win.

Well, the reason to count outs is, that one can't do those
exact calculations in the heat of the battle, especially
not against probably broad ranges of hands.

So how would one estimate the outs or if you prefere winning chances to this hand ?

(And in this case I don't count the idea that pocketpair
vs. two overcards wins a little more than half normally)

Hmm, maybe it's like this not possible at all before the flop ?

I don't get it.

x% equity equals (100/x - 1):1 odds, and you can look up to how many outs that corresponds in any situation. But I don't see what outs have to do with it.
