Maybe this is me, but I usually just c/c this river. Pot control with a hand like this is key. 9 doesn't really scare me much, nor does the third club 7 (unlikely CO runnered a flush here)

Don't really like the overbet here, you won't really get called by anything that you beat. However, not many things that beat you are folding (A9..?), either here.

I think I c/c River. We seem to be hoping to stack AT or maybe A8 but we will be doubling up a much bigger range than that. At least by checking we might get value from his Q or T or whatever rubbish he has that can't call.

Basically a check widens his range which allows us to make a profit from any money going in on the River.
