UTG bets $50.00, Hero ??

Before the comments roll in, I bet flop here almost always, but with the limp/call UTG, I thought I might be able to get him to overcall on later streets with a lower pocket pair. The turn card seemed pretty hideous to me though, and I can't imagine at that point being called by much that I have beat.

How could he have any thing other than TT or AJ here.....I guess he could have AA as well.....

But you are right, there isn't much you beat.....KQ, JJ, JT, 22-99, King High, Queen High, and you just caught up with AT.

J is a scarecard?

I would just play it straight, bet the flop and turn.

River, let's see, you have basically the 2nd nuts and you played the hand incredibly weak. I'm raising this a good bit.

What is he gonna call with that doesn't split/beat you? I don't see a reason to feed the rake so I'd call.

raise and call a shove. if you just call here and he shows you 99, you're going to go crazy. And if you just call and he shows you TT, you're going crazy too.

Where is the value though? If you raise his 99 he folds since he has the board.

Why would I expect him to call a raise playing the board?
