Default 2/4 - Weird line + shorthanded = call?

Villain is 35/13 over 100 hands of which most if 3-handed. I haven't seen him checkraise yet once during this session.

Really strange/tough spot. It's just really hard to put him on a hand here so I'm leaning towards a call. If he's got you beat make a note on how he plays.

I think you have to lay this down; obviously you're hoping he has a busted draw here but there are plenty of cheaper and probably more effective ways for him to try to pick up the pot if that's what he has. The stats on him and your read make him appear rather passive and possibly timid as well.

I think its really close, I usually time out and fold in these spots.

He might be fishy enought to make it to the river with a 5, which is what he represents. OTOH, I find that passive fishy players do sometime wake up on the river and make a big bluff, so he could certainly see the second 5 as an excuse to bluff his busted draw. He might also consider that you will have draw here quite often.

When playing I rarely call here, but I actually think it might be good.
