40 yard dash
Tarvaris Jackson: low: 4.69, high: 4.75 Dwayne Jarret: low: 4.62, high: I couldn't find a link, but I remember it being 4.72, definately 4.7x Predict their Madden 08 speeds... [/ QUOTE ] Im not mad about Jacksons rating, I thought he deserved 80-82, Im mad that Jarrett gets a good rating just cuz he is a high profile player. Also, V. Young got a 90 speed so thats not true. (4.58), Patrick Willis speed is 88 (4.37) I'm not saying that 40yd dash means everything but its a bit annoying to see players rated on how high of a profile they are, Young is very high profile, madden cover so he gets 90 speed, Willis is just a rookie, moderately high profile so he gets good for a linebacker but not amazing.

I love the fact that they give every rating for every player, even like pass defense stats for offensive linemen, and how they rate every offensive tackle on how they would play in a man pass coverage vs. how they would handle zone coverage.

Isn't 40 yard dash an indicator of acceleration, not speed? Well, Jarrett still gets a little extra in that category, but at least it's close...
