Default Did I misplay a set here, even though I won.

Here is the hand. I am in a 5/10 NL game and down to around $560 from an original $1200 buy in. I am generally viewed as tight agressive player, but was caught in a bluff recently and I am alittle unsure of my table image at this point.

I am dealt JJ from UTG. I make a very small pre-flop raise of $35. My thinking here is I want a lot of callers so when I hit my set I get paid. I get six callers. Flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet out a pretty weak bet of $75 into a $200 pot. My feeling with this bet was that I wanted to have someone raise me so I can reraise. Again, I want people involved. First player goes all in for $195. I get three more callers. I push my remaining stack around 475 into the pot. Was this a mistake? I mean 10 K is so likely here against 4 callers. Can anyone just flat call here or fold?

As it turns out the bet worked amazingly well. What turns out to be QJ goes into the tank. He folds his hand, surmising that I have a set of more then likely J's and someone has the straight. All hands are overtunred with my other two opponents they both have 10 K. I spike a Q on the turn and take down the pot. The folder of QJ tells us about his hand at that point, he of course would of won had he chased his two outs. I really do not care that I won the pot, I am questioning whether I needed to fold to the re-raise or call and not raise. It seems to me to be a very border line decision. Opinions wanted.

Thanks.

You have a strong hand, but it's also very vulnerable. Make a flop bet of ~175.

Also, with your stack size "fold" should be the last thing on your mind.

I hate preflop, I hate the weak cbet, I like getting it all in on the flop.
