Default Some key hands, how would you play?

Hand 1

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Button (t1665)
SB (t810)
Hero (t4085)
UTG (t5855)
UTG+1 (t11225)
MP1 (t2468)
MP2 (t6315)
MP3 (t1455)
CO (t4410)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
5 folds, CO calls t200, Button raises to t800, 1 fold

Hero is average stack, 58 left.
Reads CO will fold to a push. Button tends to overbet big hands. Example opening for 5BB, so the standard raise likely indicates a weaker hand that it might seem.

What should Hero do?

I fold here as I don't want to play this against two players, and I don't want to put all my chips in when I'm most likely behind both hands at this point.

Whats the buyin on this second hand? when your 22nd in chips with 40 to go are you deep into a large MTT? 4/180 and not yet at the bubble? need more info.

As posted I guess I call and hope to win a race. I doubt your up against smaller pairs very often.

When posting hands your Q (position vis-a-vis avg) doesn't really matter. Focus more on reads, table dynamics, your own image at the table and the stage in the tournament. Also, for each hand you post, try and write a couple of sentences as to why you are posting it, what you think is particularly interesting/challenging to have made you post these hands as opposed to all the others you played.

Hand 1 is a super easy fold.

Hand 2 you've only got just over 13 BBs to start the hand, I'm tempted to just push over the limper.

Hand 1 I just think everything is all wrong, I'd fold and wait for a different spot.

Hand 2 you need to just shove initially, raising 4x with a 13 BB stack is not good.

We're third to act, facing a limp, at an 8 handed table, with a 13 BB stack. I think folding 99 is incredibly weak given the situation.

edit: oh you probably meant to the shove...I have no idea, and it's pretty irrelevant because we should never ever be in that spot. Given OP's range on villain it's a snapcall with 99, but that range seems huge.

1. Easy fold. You either have to shove or fold and this is not a great spot to jam all your chips in.

2. Call and win a race.
