I think in both hands you need to raise more PF. In the first hand, with a limper, I like 2.50-3.00 In the second hand I'd RR to at least 5.

raise more PF in both hands. as played looks fine.

On a side note how is it that both players lost at SD in both pots?

Raise to 2.5 or 2 (3 or 4bb+1bb*limper) in the 1st hand pf, 3-bet to 4.5-6 pf in the 2nd hand, you want to build the pot before the flop.

Hand 1: PF Make it 3. Pot the flop/turn.

Hand 2: PF Make it 6. Pot the flop/turn.

I don't know, the hand converter and pokerstars are conspiring.

I'm just pissed that I twice suffer the card dead druggery to get cracked when I finally get a hand.

Are we really saying that in the first hand, MP1's turn re-raise doesn't tell us that he has more than a pair of Kings? I'm finding that hard to believe. Then again, I'm weak.

As other people have said, make it $2.50 to go in the first hand. The amount you should bet on the flop depends on how many people are coming along. You WANT people to call you with worse hands, and not just ones that beat you. Generally bet more with more opponents in, but your bet is fine on a dry board like this. Bet less on the turn - $8 to $9 and fold to raise. Think about why you're betting. Stuff like "pot flop, pot turn" is dumb and thoughtless poker. You're betting the turn to get a hand like AT, QT or J9 to call another bet. The King is a pretty big scare card and they're likely to fold unless they have you beat.

Second one - you had a bad beat, get over it.
