Default Hummus (LC)

Normally I don't like hummus because of the texture, but this stuff:

is unreal, especially with some of these:

Roasted red pepper hummus with cheddar Goldfish crackers is awesome.

A few days ago I made a big bowl of hummus and just ate it straight.

Edit: I meant the GIANT Goldfish. The standard ones are too small for dipping.

Garlic Hummus is the best and not too bad for you.

mmm Hummus is SO delicious! When you say "not too bad for you" you really have to be careful, though, because the calories can add up very quickly, especially since it isn't a cream-based spread so you don't notice how much you're eating.

I love this stuff. I eat the roasted red pepper one with Keebler Club Crackers. Good little snack with a beer when I get home from work.

Forget the brand name, but the two best flavors of the 10+ that I have tried are Kalamata Olive and Cracked chili Pepper. Olive one is best by far.

In addition to having with normal crackers, etc.

Quick and delicious.

Anyone who hasn't used Hummus as a substitute for BBQ sauce/ketchup/mustard on a sandwich is missing out.

I'm interested in hearing comments on texture...are most hummuses (hummi?) grainy like the kind I don't like, or are the better ones smooth as in the OP? This is a very important factor for me.

Also, the brand above has a Greek Olive variety too; I plan to try that one next.

Without chicks, the hummus market would consist of a couple of really hungry drunk dudes that mistake the container for dip.
