AIM acting up

Hey all,

I have the new Aim triton and it keeps acting up. Sometimes it works for 30 minutes, other times only works for 1 minute. What happens when it acts up is it uses 99% of my computer and bogs it down. I've unistalled/reinstalled it, restarted my computer many times, done virus scans etc.

Anyone know what might be wrong and how to cure it?

unfortunately it's an aol product, that's pretty much what's wrong with it. try these:

Search for an older version of AIM. Triton really sucks in my opinion and constantly gave me problems. I don´t need all the worthless features AOL is trying to cram down our throats. Do an internet search for older versions of AIM and download the last one before Triton. That´s my recommendation.

AOL= Constantly revolutionizing terrible software.

I had problems with Triton too. I would take really long to pop up a new instant message and would sign me off everyday for no reason. I just the old one back on. Aim.com

Thanks guys to everyone who responded. I just downloaded AIM, not the Triton GARBAGE. And "plain aim" has been working fine for the past 3 hours, THANKS!!!!
