I may have misplayed every street
Playing last night in a soft 2-5 NL game.
It's 4 or 5 handed, a couple of limpers, I have black 7s in the SB. I raise to $20, button calls, everyone else folds. I have $800 behind and he has me covered. Flop: 7 8 T rainbow. I bet $60, button raises to $160... ??? I call. Turn: 5, no flush draw. I check, button bets $120... ??? I call. River: 6. I want to kill myself and check. Button bets $240. ??? Help me with this hand y'all. Results in white: I tanked for a long time and decided to call, feeling I was good maybe 1/3 of the time and the pot was enormous. Button had T6 for 2 pair and I won the pot. |

Re: I may have misplayed every street
pf is fine i think. if, however, theres been a lot of limpers, raise more than 4bb pf.
how much is the pot on the flop? if you bet close to potsize, stick it in here. id probably almost allways 3bet the flop, unless you have certain reads that hes a spewing maniac or smth. the more reasonable he is, the easier a shove this becomes. as played, its up to reads. if you think this turnbet is a potsweetener/suck in, i like a c/c. if you think hes a retard, c/r ai. again, as played i think i find a fold on the river, but yeah, you played this one poorly. |

Re: I may have misplayed every street
I think I would reraise the flop and ry to get ai, but if I didn't i would checkraise the turn.
