Default Which Bluff Is More Believable

Both situations you open from cutoff, BB 3bets, you call ... your cards irrelevant

Flop 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB bets, you float with the intention of representing a diamond draw

Turn 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB checks, you bet ~3/4 pot

or

BB checks, you check

River 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB bets, you shove

Which line is a better bluff?
In this situation, is it a bad bluff because the A is a diamond?
In this situation, is it a good bluff because BB could easily have 3bet JJ-KK and would fold cuz of the A anyway?

Right, that's why I asked "In this situation, is it a bad bluff because the A is a diamond? "

i think he means hes floating trying to represent an ace, and being able to use the diamond as an out.

This situation happened recently, and I was pretty sure villain had KK ... so the A plus the combination of diamonds gave me a great board to bluff on

So may we should ignore "trying to represent a diamond draw" part and just ask which line is better to bluff

Maybe it's just me but if I hit ANY part of this flop I'm shoving over BB's c-bet. Think about how you'd play a normal ace or a diamond draw in a 3-bet pot and go from there.

I like this. trying to reconstruct the line you would normally take is probably the best course of action

That being said i like option 2 more in the post
