Default 1020 hu QQ rr pot semideep

First hand of hu villian just sat down.

3200 effective stacks
I reraise to 280 in BB with QQ.

flop comes 489 2 tone. I bet 500 he calls.

Turn off suit A. I bet 1300 into 1560 he pushes for 1200 more. - thoughts on turn bet?

I'd bet a little less on the turn, and fold after he shoves, I like how you played it though.

What is the point of betting the turn if you are folding to a shove? If this is the case, there is no reason to bet the turn because you aren't getting value out of a worse hand, he's either folding or going allin here. In the spots where he folds you have the best hand. In either case there is no point in betting here if your plan here is to fold to a shove.

This is simply not true. The ace looks like an easy scare card for hero to bet and villain might call again with T9. Yes, it feels like we are turning our hand into somewhat of a bluff, but it's better than letting a worse pair check down or rewarding a float.

turn bet is awful if you aren't calling a shove, considering the board texture and the range of hands he may semibluff.

Turn bet is also awful if im openfolding any river... Who said that I was folding turn? I just left room for discussion.
