Full Tilt Poker Game #3175213527: $20 + $2 Sit & Go (24265759), Table 1 - 120/240 - No Limit Hold'em - 21:56:36 ET - 2007/08/06
Seat 3: datsagoot1 (4,075) Seat 4: Waynedeep (1,540) Seat 8: odellintulsa (5,415) Seat 9: HERO (2,470) odellintulsa posts the small blind of 120 HERO posts the big blind of 240 The button is in seat #4 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to HERO [Qc Ah] datsagoot1 has 15 seconds left to act datsagoot1 raises to 480 Waynedeep folds odellintulsa folds HERO raises to 2,470, and is all in Was this a mistake? Looking back, I could have called the 240 more and seen the flop, and made a decision from there. Or was this All in push the right play? Getting in the money would have been nice as HERO had a 1,000 chip lead on the 4th place player. Feedback please. TY. |

it depends. if he never ever minraised before, you should prolly just call and play some careful postflop poker.
but it this ain't the first time, your push is totally awesome ! |

Read dependant for me, some players only min raise big pairs from utg & some min raise A2os etc.

Reads? I'm probably only shoving/folding & it really depends on his opening range and on how often he is calling our shove.

If he is forever min raising then jam.
But if he is raising not so often, or even a normal amount of the time, i would play careful and just flat call. |

With this player, I didn't have too many notes. I noticed someone min raised him when he was in BB and he folded. He also min raised w QJ from the SB when it was folded around to the blinds. I can't say anything else regarding his play.

On the bubble against a min raise. I say push. He folds and you win the pot.
