NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
Should I bet the turn or should i just check behind with my 10 outs which i think are good most of the time.

Re: NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
You had 12 outs right?
He seems like a bit of a calling station, so if you check flop I dont see why you cant check behind on turn also. Remember that your 12 outs might not all be clean and don't wana build a big pot here imo. |

Re: NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
I'd play this the same way, technically you had 11 outs as you wouldn't want the J of hearts to double pair the board on the river

Re: NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
I checked the flop because I thought he might trap me with a high pocketpair. On the turn I wasn't so sure any more but didn't wont to risk the c/r because of my outs. If i would not have so much i might have bet there and try to steal the pot.
If I wouldn't have hit I think I would have let it go because the second check would have made the steal attempt on the river obvious. Anyone stealing in that case? |

Re: NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
The turn check is good for the reasons mentionened. Nevertheless, I'd bet more on the river. Any hand that calls $9.50 will call $14 as well because you have not shown any strength so far and it looks very much like a bluff.

Re: NL100 Bet turn or cbehind?
I'm betting that turn just about every time. If villain does call then I still have outs and can win a much larger pot if I hit.

I kinda like a river overbet against this guy, I might make it 30.
