NL 25 - Top pair, weak kicker. HU. Call on river?
Hi all.
I`ve played poker for a year, going pretty much break even. Now I discovered P2P, and this forum has improved my skills dramaticly. I`ve changed from FR to 6-MAX, and got more aggressive. Now poker is fun. Thanks a lot to all of you! But there is still a lot to learn. Here is my first post: Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($32.64) SB ($2.63) Villain (BB) ($33.30) UTG ($35.79) MP ($21.45) CO ($18.84) READS Villain: 23/12/1,8 (60 hands). Calling too much on all streets I guess. Hero: 18/15/7,0 (same 60 hands). Only played in CO or BTN. Never forced to show a C-bet bluff. Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, BB calls $0.75. Seems like an easy call with that bet amount.

Re: NL 25 - Top pair, weak kicker. HU. Call on river?
Call. Villain could easily have a jack or pocket pair, and to them it appears you c-betted and gave up on the turn. Raising will get worse hands to fold and better hands to call/raise.

easy call behind. He has a flush sometimes i think but other than that you're probably good. Definitely not a raise.
