NLCASH: AQ on 4-straight
About 50 hands in, I'm up a little. He hasn't shown down any premiums, and doesn't respect me much and loves to come over the top big. What do I do on this river?

Re: NLCASH: AQ on 4-straight
I'd lean towards pushing. Or maybe weak lead/calling given reads. It seems you're ahead a good amount of the time and I think a lead of some sort is preferable to c/c. Shoving gets us value from all of his bluffcatchers/lower aces. Nobody really flats AK here and sets usually make themselves known earlier, so it looks like we only lose to 4s. And if we weak lead we can get value from his showdown bound hands while still possibly inducing bluffs from his air (and getting stacked by 4s).

Re: NLCASH: AQ on 4-straight
He's given me little respect, perhaps a weak lead to induce a shove sounds good? He's a bit more prone to check behind if I just check it to him for the most part, a lot of his bluffs are OOP.

He's not valuebetting them either all you can get value from by betting small/calling or c/cing is busted hearts which might raise the turn if he's aggressive. Shove. |
