Weird hand. He probably has an 8, but did he call you off with 98 or something? Or maybe he has 46.

I don't like to call river raises when I've shown strength all the way. Unless you know he bluffs a lot I think you should fold.

no. he actually had a 45o for the 7 high, so i didn't feel too bad at all about my own value bet there. but ya, 89 and 46 were about the only kind of legit hands to make a straight there.
