100 NL - Flopped straight in trouble on the turn?
I don't have the hand history for this one either. But i will do it from memory
Hero: $100 [J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] SB: $80 running roughly 30/7/3. He is a donk. He got his stack but slowrolling his AA UTG+1: covers both of us. Standard TAG. I respect his play. Preflop: UTG+1 bets 4. I call. SB calls. Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot: $12) Both check. I bet 10. SB calls and UTG+1 folds. Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Pot $32) SB checks. Hero? Hero decide to bet 30. Villain calls. River: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot $92) SB leads for 20. Sb has 20 left to go and hero covers. What is heros action? Comments on any street are welcome. |

Re: 100 NL - Flopped straight in trouble on the turn?
Remember, the goal is not to win each pot, but to make correct decisions. Hand is played fine. Shoving the river is fine, and I would also be OK with a call there--a boat is quite possible, as is the nut flush. But, it's close.
