Default 50NL - AJo flops NFD, I go all in

Villain is a 26/21/5, but his flop aggression is 8.
He seems to 3-bet both in and out of position a lot, and seems like a good, thinking player.

1. How good/bad would it have been to 4-bet him pf here?

2. Is there any other way to play this hand than the way I played it?

3. And what about if this villain would have been more passive from his stats? I think that would indicate a stronger hand by his raise on the flop, so my FE may be less, does this really matter here?

PREFLOP: I fold pre-flop here probably 80% of the time, but I am pretty nitty. I think a 3-bet against an 26/21 is a good play in this spot. I don't think calling is good option preflop.

On this flop you are likely drawing to 9 or fewer outs (since he might be drawing or already have the flush), suffering RIO. I fold this quite often.

Against this opponent I like a flat call and reevaluate on turn.

Doesn't it? I think we are behind most of the time.

Totally, except for folding it preflop. Against this type of opponent I'm definitely 3-betting here more than I'm folding and I'd be more inclined to fold than flat I think.

1. Marginal

2. I like the way you played it. Given your description of the villain, he is probably raising your donk with a wide enough range of hands to make pushing profitable. I would hate to just call his raise.

3. In general, getting too excited with combo draws vs passive villains showing strength has been quite a big leak for me at uNL (worse in an unraised pot though)
