Re: players staying
Everyone's different but players will leave when they are up. or down or took a bad beat to try and avoid tilt. Others will leave when the fish leaves or when the play of the table changes. Also depending on their strategy they may be short stacking and leave once they double up.

Re: players staying
There could be a number of reasons they leave right away.
-if they don't like table conditions (tables too tight or too loose for them) -if there is not enough players - I usually leave a FR table once there is less than 7 players -they don't like their seat - may have a maniac to their left or some other situation they would rather not be in -"hit and run" - win a big pot and leave before they lose it back -they might just have other stuff come up like a phone call or something |

[ QUOTE ]
ok thanks for that sort of expect people to stay for say 1/2 hour or hour, rarely seems to happen. still learning [/ QUOTE ] I play a lot of SNG, but I often play cash, especially when I don't know how much time I have. For example, say I'm playing and when my wife gets home we are going to go somewhere. She may be home in an hour, or it might be ten minutes. Whenever she gets home I'll finish whatever hands are still in play, update my spreadsheet with results, and log off the computer. So there might be times when I'm only on for five minutes. If you're a winner, you want to play a lot of hands. A few extra hands every day, even five minutes at a time, can add up to extra money in your bankroll. |
