Re: NL $50 Stack a Donk
Do you have PT stats on the BB? If BB is 'donkish' I am always pushing post-flop here -- I didn't like you CALLING his check-raise post-flop. You are ahead of too many hands on the flop and if he hit his set so be it -- but calling is weak especially if he has a flush draw.

Re: NL $50 Stack a Donk
This is not the stack-a-donk. That is when you raise preflop, bet the flop, and then CR the turn, exploiting a float happy villain.
Anyway, your line is alright. Still, I think I probably shove the flop over his min-raise. Turn shove as played is fine. |

Re: NL $50 Stack a Donk
I probably 3-bet the flop, but basically I think you did okay. There is one potential drawback to 3-betting immediately on the flop, which is that it could be what Villain needs to see to let his JJ/TT go. But I'd probably 3-bet anyway on a board this drawy, and in any case, quite frequently the money is going to go in no matter what line you take (and, unfortunately, you'll also quite frequently lose, unless flop min-checkraises are monsters significantly less often at the 50 than at the 25).

Yeah I play it the same then laugh when he turns over J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and another heart rolls of on the river [/ QUOTE ] LDO and btw: we have an indication that villain is bad ( he minraised both preflop and on the flop. I believe such a villain will rarely have a flush here, as he is likely to check on the turn here with that. He could, however, have a set. Against a set we have a bunch of outs though, and his range is so much wider than that IMO (like plenty of TP with a heart, QQ/KK whatever.) |
