Villain has TAG stats, no other read.

Odd. Q9 does sort of make sense, and a hand like T9 is of course quite possible, but I think I'd raise it to $16 or so, with the plan of showing down if Villain pushes.
Villain's turn underbet lead could be a trappy play, but you're chopping with some of his "trapping" hands, and you're ahead of many strong hands Villain could have. It's also possible this bet is a blocker, but if that's the case, then you're probably not going to win much more anyway, unless Villain is scared enough of the board that he's blocking with two pair or a set. |

This looks like a 9 - 98 or T9 to me or possibly a set or two pair as well. I don't think this would be Q9 very often against a TAG in the BB. Could also be a KQ that picked up a flush draw and figures you can't call without a 9.
I play it the same as Hero and go to a showdown if needed: RR turn and call river bet. |

I raised turn to 13 (too small?), he called. River was an offsuit 4. He checked, I pushed (32 into 36 dollar pot) and he folded.
Is there anything a "normal TAG" would call a smaller bet with that he folds to the pot sized push? |

Call here, normally call the river. Bet if checked to, sometimes raise if your opponent is an overvaluing dork (true fairly often).
