Here's the thing about Max. He's a bad LAG. Push and love it when he calls with J9s.

Yeah, he's laggy but if he doesn't have QQ+ AK I'd be surprised. I doubt he's doing the limp reraise with crap given that UTG+1 raised.

yea i figured he's less likely to play laggy at a 60 then at higher levels...
but i also never played him so im pretty readless.

I think without a read it's a fine fold. The limp/reraise UTG is a really strong move. Why is he less likely to be playing laggy at the 60's than the 236's? If anything, I'd think he'd be even more indiscriminately aggressive at a lower buyin.

Rule of thumb for playing SNGs on FTP:

If your opponent is in red, your hand is ahead.

well, just cause at lower buyins you expect wilder/poor play, and the best way to combat that is play super textbook. whereas against tougher players textbook wont work and you have to open up to a certain extent. assuming max thinks this way might be too presumptuous tho (wow did i really just use that word...)

he said later he had KK, fwiw

its not even that interesting a hand. i just havent posted anything in a while, so i figured this would be fun

He open limped from the CO in a $236 with QQ, I was in the BB with 93o...flop 993...gg Max. I would say he always has a big pair here. I predict he'll be a losing player if his average buying is much above the $119s. I think he pushes too tight but small sample size.
