Default NL400: Dodging a set with AA

I usually play NL200, but I'm starting to move up in stakes. I've done some shots every now and then to NL400 tables.

(Handhistory written from memory. Suits aren't maybe correct, but at least flop was a rainbow and I'm not sure whether turn gave a flush draw or not.)

NL400, 5-max. Effective stacks 100 BB.

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 15, Hero raises to 45, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.
(Pot is now ~135)

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 85, BB calls, UTG folds.
(Pot is now ~300)

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero checks.
(Pot is now ~300)

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB bets 200 and is all-in, Hero folds.

After he coldcalled preflop and check-called on the flop I couldn't give him any other credit than set. He was maybe trying to lure BB in, too. I think there's also some chance of him spiking set on the turn.

I checked turn for pot control because I had strong feeling he's going to check-raise all-in and I'm committed to call.

Yet many hours after this hand, I'm reminiscencing if I did the correct laydown.
My line resembles somewhat AK. But still if I was on AK, why would he try to move me out of the pot with lesser holdings than set?

Villains possible holdings:
AA: Possible, but only one hand in the deck. His line is IMO consistent with this. Trapping 3-bettor preflop, smoothcalling flop and trying to check-raise on turn. Shoving for value on river.

KK: He plays this faster preflop/postflop? Maybe even shoving preflop or at least going for check-raise all-in on flop?

QQ: Maybe, but I don't think he's leading the river with this.

Sets: Very likely?

edit: misread preflop.

you should have bet more on the flop (85 into a 135 pot wtf?) and shove the turn. as played you have to fold the river.

Why does he fold the river as played here? He showed weakness on the turn meaning the opponent is more likely to vbet/bluff this river.

BTW I agree w/ a turn bet call and bet bigger on flop. QQ and JJ are very likely here and there is already a J out there so...

actually i have no idea anymore. when i first read the hand i didnt see it was 3bet preflop, so my range for BB consisted of JTs, J9s, T9s and possible sets.

when i realised BB cold called preflop it makes his range more like a set or an overpair.

id actually call this river.
