If you take his minraise to be a bluff, then yes, I guess it's pretty standard considering he had less than the $6 left.
Personally, I don't like playing against short stacks, so I probably check it. *shrug* |

I'm not too sure here myself. Did you have any reads that would indicate the check-raise was a bluff?
It does look like a bluffy bet I suppose, I think if he had an ace he'd probably just call to try and disguise his hand. Having said that though, a lot of people at this level like calling PF with weak aces, at least in my experiance. With a read (that he's bluffing), why not call and let him bluff the rest on to you on the turn? If you put him all in he's only going to call if he's got the ace (did he?), so if you call him it gives him the oportunity to give you the rest of his stack. |

my immediate insticts were to push. i knew hed call with anything, so i went with it, kinda what you have to do when multi tabling no? with the amount he had left, i dont like a call, b/c whats his tiny bluff gonna do on the turn? i like my play still, any other thoughts? ill post results after a little bit

Hmm, with full stacks this would be bad because nothing you beat calls and nothing that beats you will fold. Against a guy who's short it's kind of meh. I think when he min-raises he wants a call, so folding isn't that horrible.

With full stacks this is terrible...
Against a shortie, I don't mind it... |

Well, I guess you know now what that min-raise means.
