Re: Lower end of a Straight..
fold the flop. this board is a limper's paradise, your straight and two pair outs are awful, and the SB bet out 5-way. so you pretty much have a ~2 outer facing redraws all over the place.

Great example of reverse implied odds at work

fold the flop. [/ QUOTE ] The pot is small and even if you complete your straight, you may still be outdrawn or lose to someone with a Q. |

Re: Lower end of a Straight..
I fold the flop.
With SB leading into four others, there's a good chance he has you beat with a reasonable chance of someone else having you beat behind you. Also, your draws are rather weak. |

Re: Lower end of a Straight..
I would fold the flop. Too many player, too many draws.

Re: Lower end of a Straight..
When you're thinking about making a loose call like this on a draw, consider all your potential outs and determine whether or not you'll be able to raise the next street if they hit. If you find that you won't be able to raise on most or all of them, don't make the call.

Re: Lower end of a Straight..
If I were going to play a hand like this on the flop, I'd probably raise in the hopes of getting the other people behind me out as opposed to calling, because if you just call all the draws are going to come along with you cheaply and many many cards will beat you if you aren't beat already.
However, with this flop, I'd fold. Middle pair in a 5 handed flop with a 3 straight that connects with broadway cards, a two flush, and an SB betting out into a large field. I'd raise if I thought there was any chance of having the best hand, and in this situation it's' hard to see how that would be possible. |

Re: Lower end of a Straight..
I'd raise the flop. I think calling the flop is pretty bad. I think you played the other three streets fine though.
