Does anyone play these differently? My attempt to steal blinds % is 21. These lines felt terrible. I'm 14/7.

yeah, second looks good.

First: I think villian has KK, QQ, JJ here a decent amount... I think he smooth calls a set here, so these hands are likely. I probably call his raise and get it in on the turn, or push.

(but a fold is safer)

In hand #1 villians SB folded to steal is 100%. He would play 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] like that, but he can't have that because of the preflop call. A guy with stats like that is not cold calling a SC out of position. And he can't have A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] since we have the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Even with those stats he would reraise KK preflop. He either has QQ/JJ or a set. And he would check/raise a set because of the flush draw.

That being said against that range you have 57.5% equity so you have to go with it.

Are you just setmining with KK in hand #2? Otherwise I don't really get the flat call. What are you doing if small cards flop? 12/5 is nitty, but it's not 12/2. Is this the min-reraise from a nit is always aces theory?

I would be tempted to just call his raise to see a non-diamond turn then raise it. Raising is also a good idea. I think folding should be option #3, though it is the safest play, though imo weak safe.

#2 I don't understand why you would smooth call w/KK here. I would reraise to take it w/o a flop, but I guess set mining is an ok option. But I would reraise to 30 or so, BB will probably fold everything but AA, so if he doesn't fold, he has AA. But its an auto fold if you see the flop.

I would push on hand 1 and 4-bet preflop on hand 2. As played on hand 2, your c/f is standard.
