Default $10/1 - Advice for situations like this....

I've been in weird situations lately, late in SNGs, ITM, with all players haveing relatively equal stack sizes. From some plays I have both seen and made, I think I need some work on my game in these areas.

FULL TILT $10/1 (3 handed)

BB: 5,535
Button: 3,460
SB: Gomez22 4,505
Gomez22 posts the small blind of 150
BB posts the big blind of 300

Dealt to Gomez22 T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Button raises to 900
Gomez22 raises to 4,505, and is all in

Now... granted, stacks aren't really deep, but they are deep compared to Party SNGs and Stars Turbos at this blind level and # of players remaining. Button has seemed somewhat tight, but not a rock by any means, stealing occasionally, but mostly ABC.

In these situations, should I be pushing here, or simply calling and seeing a flop? Calling seems kinda weak, but when it comes to chip positions & blinds similar to this (where I really don't feel alot of pressure) am I better off seeing flops, or getting it all in PF?

At this level ($10/1) I really don't have a problem or worry about my play post flop, I merely think that these situations are those I need to work on right now to improve my game.

Anyone have any thoughts or musings about situations like this?

Thanks,
'Mez

You are likely way ahead. Calling could induce more chips from villain, but any broadway flop is scary with TT. I push it and don't mind if Button calls or folds.

you're ITM, not on the bubble anymore. you should be pushing this spot every time. you have a monster pf hand with only 13ish BBs and you just got raised into. you're behind JJ-AA. if villain wins, fire up another.
